Saturday, March 26, 2005New Machine, New TrackHere's my new computer, a Mac Mini. (Its name is Zek Jadem.) Look at how tiny it is compared to my old G4. And yet, it's three times faster! It's such a pleasure to have windows open and programs start right away, instead of having to wait. But one of the most excellent things about it -- and the iLife suite which came with it -- is GarageBand, which will completely transform the way I make music. Just from playing around with it for two days, I've already turned out this track (I think it's a hit): Funky AlarmEnjoy! Now I'm off to eat Mexican food and watch a movie with D. I've been saving up a lot of links -- hopefully I'll post them tomorrow with the new SynCast. TimeWaster™ Cake Dance is very polished and cute. Today I'm listening to: myself! |
