Sunday, January 29, 2006Thou Shalt Pump Thy Volume SkywardI know many of you enjoy those mid-week postings and get cheesed off when I only show up here to announce a new audio offering. But at least I'm keeping pretty regular with that, right? Count your blessings, why dontcha? Well, I have been mentally mapping a few text-based posts, and hopefully I'll get to one or two of them soon. On With the Show Anyway -- This week's SynCast is a loving tribute to one of my favorite songs of all time: "Pump Up The Volume", the only song ever released by M/A/R/R/S. I've always loved this song (I owned the 45 and currently own a very scratchy EP), and it still sounds as funky today as it did the first time I heard it. Various mixologies on the song have been added and collected -- this is a good time for anyone who likes the song. (And I've never met anyone who doesn't.) Enjoy!
