We're buying a new house. Yeah, I know -- I said I didn't want to own because it would take up so much time, I'd have to shovel all my own snow, yadda yadda. But then our landlords painted the front porch of the house we're living in now a hideous blood red color and we figured enough was enough. Besides, I'm always telling my students how important it is to be self-reliant, so should I also be?

So between the house and the wedding (and the honeymoon in Italy), this summer's going to be busy busy!
